A collection of Einstein Quotes
I particularly like:
"You see, wire telegraph is a kind of a very, very long cat. You pull his tail in New York and his head is meowing in Los Angeles. Do you understand this? And radio operates exactly the same way: you send signals here, they receive them there. The only difference is that there is no cat."
...way to go Einstein, that really clears things up. Nice to see he had a sense of humour :p
One that I genuinely find insightful (or at least thoughtful), is:
"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed."
I love trying to take time to appreciate and marvel at the most simplistic of things, it helps me to appreciate everything else a little more.
I really do enjoy quotes, even if they're often just silly and pointless, or idealistic and fuzzy.
"A casual stroll through the lunatic asylum shows that faith does not prove anything." - Friedrich Nietzsche
And I think my all time favorite:
"Sanity is relative" - Charles Manson
